Topofilia es un proyecto de publicaciones colaborativas sobre las historias y memorias de los habitantes de la Población Juan Antonio Ríos. Dirigido por la artista Viviana Bravo y con la dirección de arte de Pablo Schalscha junto a un equipo de artistas y profesionles. El objetivo de este proyecto fue rescatar las historias barriales en torno a hitos urbanos y sociales que constituyen la identidad de este sector, para aportar a la construcción polifónica de la historia reciente. Prestando principal atención a las microhistorias de las relaciones de las personas con su entorno construido.
El nombre Topofília refiere al sentimiento que experimenta el hombre por un lugar y se centra en las respuestas que el ser humano produce ante su entorno.
Las publicaciones experimentales se realizaron a partir de talleres de diversos oficios: relatos, escritura, serigrafía, fotografía y encuadernación.

Topofilia is a project of collaborative publications about the stories and memories of the inhabitants of the Juan Antonio Rios Population. Directed by the artist Viviana Bravo and with the art direction of Pablo Schalscha together with a team of artists and professionals. The objective of this project was to rescue the neighborhood histories around urban and social landmarks that constitute the identity of this sector, to contribute to the polyphonic construction of recent history. Paying main attention to the micro histories of people’s relationships with their built environment.
The name Topofília refers to the feeling that man experiences for a place and focuses on the responses that human beings produce to their environment.
The experimental publications were made from workshops in various trades: storytelling, writing, silk-screen printing, photography and bookbinding.
